Elisabeth Hasselbeck & Husband Expecting Their Second Child!

Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s dream of getting pregnant again has come true!
“Elisabeth Hasselbeck, 29, co-host of ABC’s The View, will announce live on-air today that she is pregnant with her second child and is due in November,” ABC said in a statement.
“Tim and I are incredibly thankful and excited,” Elisabeth said in the statement.
Elisabeth and her husband, New York Giants quarterback Tim Hasselbeck, 29, will celebrate their five-year anniversary in July. They welcomed their first child, Grace Elisabeth, on April 6, 2005…on Tim’s 27th birthday!
When she returned to The View after a six-week maternity leave, Elisabeth told viewers: “Grace is amazing. She likes to eat a lot and sleep a lot – just like her father.”
Elisabeth’s news is the second big announcement for The View in as many weeks: On Wednesday, cohost Rosie O’Donnell revealed that she will be leaving the show at the end of the season.
Rosie, 45, and the politically conservative Elisabeth had often clashed on-air, but Elisabeth told People magazine they’re pals offstage: “Politically, we’re rivals,” she said. “That is clear. However, we are personally friends. We are on e-mail all day long with each other.”
Elisabeth, a onetime artist and accessories designer, made her TV debut in 2001 as a contestant on Survivor: The Australian Outback (she finished fourth). She went on to host the Style Network’s The Look for Less before replacing Lisa Ling on The View in 2003.
She is so cute! I’m so happy for her!

Oh my goodness, I am so excited for them! I absolutely love Elisabeth on The View (she is the nicest person on that show). She and Tim have been trying to have a second child for almost a year now, so this is truly good news!

I knew it!!!!!!!!!!! She has been wearing loose clothing for the past few weeks trying to hide it and I’ve just been waiting for the announcement. Congratulations to them!!!!!

Congrats Elizabeth, and thank God Rosie is leaving the show. Can’t stand her not one bit!! Stopped watching it when she got on there.

I have no good reason, but I don’t like her either. Kind of like that country song “I’ll think of a reason later”… She seems like a goody-two-shoes. But I wish her well and congrats :)
