Conan O’Brien & His Daughter

Conan O’Brien, 44, was snapped out for a stroll with his daughter Neve, 4. Conan and his wife also have a son Beckett who celebrates his second birthday tomorrow!
Conan originally wanted to name his daughter the old-fashioned Irish feminine name Niamh (pronounced “knee-vh” or “neh-v”), which means “radiance, lustre, brightness” – but decided that her life would be easier if they Americanized the spelling to Neve.
I love Conan! I used to watch his show but can never manage to stay up late enough anymore. I guess I could be TIVOing it though!

I love Conan, he is so funny to me! I used to watch him all the time but now I “Jimmy”!!!!!!! My husband likes Conan a lot also.

AW! Cute little girl…I teach preschool and we have a child with the name Niamh. (Pronounced the same way) I think it is a beautiful name, and I had never heard it before this student came to my classroom.

So Neve is pronounced to rhyme with eve if I’m reading that correctly? If so, then I think it’s a really pretty name.

Niamh is one of my favorite names. Yes, it rhymes with eve. He shouldn’t have “Amercan-ized” the name! Variants are never as good as the original name. Ah well.
She is absolutely adorable, from what I can see of her. =)
