Kellie Martin Finds It Impossible To Balance A Career & Motherhood

It’s been a year since Kellie Martin, 32, welcomed her first child – Margaret Heather celebrated her first birthday on November 4th – but the actress is still trying to get the hang of motherhood.
“I find it impossible to balance a career and motherhood,” Kellie told OK! at the Hollywood Bag Ladies Luncheon to Benefit Lupus Research Wednesday evening. “I feel like when I’m not with her, my arm is gone.”
Maggie was with Kellie in spirit at the event as her middle name is a tribute to Kellie’s sister Heather, who died of lupus in 1998. But a one-night event away from her daughter is all the 32-year-old actress can take right now.
“I’m not at the point where I’m ready to go back to work at all,” she says. “Right now, I’m enjoying this incredible ride.”
She’s enjoying it alongside her husband of eight years, Keith Christian, whom she says she still has a crush on.
“Admiring the other person is incredibly important.”
