Usher & Wife Welcome A Son

UPDATE: Usher and Tameka named their son Usher Raymond V and their son was born in Atlanta, Ga. at 9:55 p.m., and weighed in at 7 lbs. 9 oz.
“We are so happy and proud of our beautiful son,” the couple said in a statement. “What a blessing!”
Usher and his wife, Tameka Foster, welcomed a baby boy on Monday night in Atlanta, his agent confirmed.
While his rep didn’t have any details about the baby’s name or birth stats, the Grammy-winning entertainer previously told E! News that he planned to have his firstborn share the family moniker and be named Usher Raymond V.
Usher, 29, and Tameka, 36, announced the pregnancy in June.
The couple wed in a private civil ceremony on August 3rd and renewed their vows on September 1st in a blowout party in Atlanta.
They were originally scheduled to marry in July, but called off the event at the last minute, after Tameka had an unspecified “pregnancy scare.”
Speaking to People in September, Usher said, “I just want my son to fully be coherent and to be healthy, first and foremost.”

on ellen degernes show usher said that if it was a boy he was goning to name him usher from his own words -If it’s a boy, I’m going to name him Usher. I’m hoping to name him that. I’ve been playing with a few names. I’m the fourth. Usher Raymond IV. I just want to pass the name on. Maybe I’ll change the middle name.

#6…why all the anger? Don’t understand why you and JJ are posting such angry nasty things. The birth of a child is a wonderful thing no matter who the parents are. And every child is a blessing no matter what they look like. Remember…we were all made in God’s image.

I think Usher should have just stayed with my home girl Chilli N-E-way.Who is Tameka she’s a nobody.I still have respect for my man Usher .He’s doing the right thing by staying by her side.
