Wow! An expectant Christina was photographed for the cover of the January issue of Marie Claire magazine in quite a revealing way!
In the interview with Marie Claire, Christina shares that pregnancy wasn’t really on her mind when she found out she and husband Jordan Bratman were to become first-time parents.
“We were planning on starting to try after the [Nov. 2006-May 2007 Back to Basics] tour. And so, I had gone off the Pill to prepare my body, because I didn’t know how much time it would take,” Christina, 26, shared.
“You’ve heard it takes some time – except with Power Egg and Super Sperm here,” she reveals, “I’m like, Oh, my God, can you believe it just happened?”
Christina believes the moment of conception occurred when Jordan – a music executive whom the singer married two years ago – visited Georgetown during a tour stop, when she had one month of physically challenging concerts still left to perform. (Her Washington, D.C. concert took place in early April – which could conceivably mean the baby’s due in January.)
Besides hanging from a circus pinwheel during the tour, Christina also sported dangerously high heels onstage.
“I was paranoid,” she admits. “There are so many things that could go wrong – somebody could slip, somebody could fall, I could fall. There was no way in hell I was going to jeopardize my baby for my show.”
Her solution was to wear a carefully hidden heart monitor that she kept secret from concert crowds. “I didn’t want to make the audience uncomfortable, like, ‘Pregnant lady onstage! Is she going to be okay?’ But I had to announce it to my band and my dancers, because I wanted to make sure they had my back.”
Having kept mum about her pregnancy, until she confirmed her condition to Glamour magazine (which reported it earlier this month), Christina was asked if she was upset when, at an MTV Video Music Awards party in September, Paris Hilton publicly introduced her as “the most beautiful pregnant woman in the world.”
With a shrug, Christina said, “Because I hadn’t said anything, people thought I was trying to keep it this big, bad secret, and that’s not the case at all. I just wasn’t commenting. I’m not being like, ‘Hey, everybody, I’m pregnant!’ I’m not that girl.”
Now that the secret’s out, Aguilera says she favors having a large family, though she doesn’t have a specific size in mind.
Asked too how her “confrontational sexuality” might come into play with her parenting, Christina responds: “We’re so labeled. If you’re too sexual, you’re slutty. If you’re not sexual enough, you’re a prude. I like to put it out there as a topic of conversation. Why does it bother you? What’s your problem with it? Am I really hurting you? Let’s get to the root of it.”
When it comes to herself, she adds, “I have more than one side of me that likes to get out on a stage and sing. Sometimes I want to be aggressive, sometimes I want to feel empowered in my sexuality and my vulnerability. I want to put all that out there.”

In my days we dressed up in lovely maternity outfits. Now it’s short tee-shirts, baggy sweat pants and bare bellys-ugh.
Yet we don’t like men with big bellys!!

It’s not meant to start a debate…I’m not an old fuddy duddy and I’m really glad that being pregnant is not considered a “condition” that should be “hid” like it was many years ago… but this whole I gotta show the whole world my bare belly phase really does little for me too.

There’s another VERY, VERY revealing shot from this issue on other sites which the wm didn’t post ….. I find the pictures tacky. When I open up a woman’s magazine, I really don’t want to see Christina’s bare bottom spread in front of me. If I do, I’d buy a porn magazine for goodness sake!

This picture doesn’t turn me off at all. I think it’s wonderful that she feels comfortable with her changing body and she’s not really showing anything anyway. I also saw the more revealing photo and thought it was perfectly tasteful too. I don’t understand why people are so squeamish over nudity. Nudity does not equal s e x… nor does it equal porn.

How about a picture of her likewise all the others once the babies are born so we can see the stretch marks and brown marks. Fortunately, I never had either but surely all of them can’t end up with perfect after birth tummies.

I don’t need to see pic’s of her stretchmarks and who cares if this pic is photoshopped..like all the other celeb’s who have posed in the buff while prego don’t get heavily photoshopped??? Who cares! She looks beautiful, healthy and happy! Isn’t that all that matters? Everyone is so damn critical, leave the girl alone! She’s not out there failing drug tests, showing off her hoochie and partying all night long falling down drunk! And I will bet her kids won’t get taken from her like someone elses….???

I think she looks great and she’s got that cute body with a baby bump. She’s very cute with her belly. Times are a changing ladies. No more do we cover up our bellies just because we are pregnant. It’s such a natural thing anyway. I’ve seen some bellies that shouldn’t be exposed that aren’t due to pregnancy but a cute baby bump is ok. I think this girl has it together enough to be a great mom and will be able to handle her career and family like it’s meant to be handled. Unlike one other we’ll leave unnamed.
Sounds like from the article that she’s trying to be healthy with it too. One thing I can’t stand is to see a pg woman/girl with a cigarette in her hand and a latte. Just not healthy for the baby at all.

She looks like she’s trying too hard. Pregnancy itself is sexy- the glow, and the fact that you’re carrying a baby and giving life. The porn star makeup, and topless photo shoot could have been passed on.

Oriana- oh but must I slow down?! Just kidding…I know. :) We won’t have any more kids for a while…probably wait until the babies are nearly teenagers and have a “second family” of sorts. During the time in between I would love to go back to work and teach again.
Onatear- aww..don’t worry about me not having help….caring for my children is great fun and rewarding for me, and my husband is incredible and I have some amazing foster sisters that practically live at our house that are great help! Not saying I don’t run into challenges :) Thank you; I hope our baby is healthy, too….everything seems to be going well. We do have a name finally! But we’re keeping the sex and name a secret until the birth, so you’ll find out then!

Haha..yes. The name begins with a K, of course. All of my husbands’ siblings’ kids have names that begin with “K”. It’s just something neat for all the cousins to have K names. Jamal’s generation all had J names. Their family just likes to do that for identity/ unity purposes…a very close-knit family. Thanks Oriana- I hope you had a good weekend, too…chaos returns and on-the-go again tomorrow! We’ll begin decorating for Christmas this week..fun!! :)

yuk. the b needs to lay off the peroxide and let her natural roots come through. we all know she is not platnum blond. we know she gets her color from a box and not from birth. her hair is so white it is awful and too dragy (drag queen) for me. show us a after photo, lets see if she’s still smileing.
