Colin Farrell Says That His Son Is Doing Well
December 20th, 2007

Colin Farrell said Tuesday that his 4-year-old son James, who has a rare neuro-genetic disorder called Angelman Syndrome, is making progress – and that father and son will be together at the holidays.
Colin, 31, told People magazine at a New York screening of his film Cassandra’s Dream that James’s progress is “good” and stressed that the Angelman is a condition, “not a disease.”
With the holidays coming up, Colin says he’s looking forward to some bonding time with James. “Yeah, absolutely,” he said. “All the family will be together. What are we going to do? Nothing. The usual – watch movies, eat food … take it easy.”
Colin shares custody of James with ex-girlfriend Kim Bordenave, the boy’s mother.
In revealing his son’s struggle back in October, Colin said James shows “amazing courage,” and added: “I’m incredibly blessed to have him in my life.”
That’s wonderful to hear! Best wishes to Colin and his family.

How sweet is that! Its refreshing for a celeb to be open and honest about their childs conditions etc and tell people, theyre not hiding it like theyre ashamed!

It is a wonderful thing that a DAD loves his child no matter what. He is open and honest about James. I think this man is the definition(sp) of a Dad. I think he is a scoundrel with woman, but I give him a 5*********** for being a Dad.
