Casey Affleck & Wife Welcome A Son

Casey Affleck has announced on his Web site that he and his wife Summer Phoenix, Joaquin’s sister, have welcomed a second child.
Casey’s representative shared that the baby is a boy, but offered no details about the birth.
The couple married in June 2006 and have a 3-year-old son named Indiana August.

I knew they were expecting. Congrats to them. I cannot wait to hear the name. I like Indiana for a girl. It should all be released soon.

You’re right Anna, Indiana does sound more like a girls name. I guess they could call him Indy.

I wonder if they named Indiana after her late brother River’s character in the Young Indiana Jones film?
I haven’t seen any photos of Summer hanging out w/ Jennifer Garner, wonder how they get along as the whole family is in that industry? I bet they can relate on the whole “papz” thing!! Congrat to all of them, a very talented family.

megs- Yes they actually did name little Indiana after River’s character. Summer was very close to River so it was her choice. I miss River.

Oh no, I don’t and didn’t know any of them personally. Sorry if it sounded like that, I don’t. I just read that somewhere from his family. They said Summer chose it after her late brother, River.

He is darn cute. I didn’t know she was part of the Phoenix family either. I was just thinking of River tonight after the death of Heath Ledger.
