Sara Cox Brings Her New Son Home

BBC Radio 1 presenter and reformed party girl Sara Cox proudly showed off her newborn son Isaac today.
Sara was beaming as she emerged from a London hospital with her son, who was carefully bundled up in a yellow blanket and hooded babygrow suit.
Sara looked a picture of health in a bright red jacket and jeans as she made her way back to her north London home with her precious cargo.
Isaac, her first child with advertising executive Ben Cyzer, was born weighing 7lb 12oz at a London hospital on Monday
She also has a three-year-old daughter, Lola, from her first marriage to DJ Jon Carter.
After spending her twenties as a party-loving “ladette”, Sara, 33, has described motherhood as a turning point in her life.
She has said: “I think all my priorities have changed. I appreciate calmness and feeling secure, being looked after.
“I enjoy my role as mum and caretaker of the house. I really relish those roles and I think I’m good at them.”
Still, she has no plans of giving up work completely, and is due to return to the air in September.
She has said: “I’d go stir crazy if I didn’t work.”
“Work and being a mum go quite nicely hand in hand. Each needs the other to keep me sane.”
Sara rose to fame as a presenter of late night Channel 4 programme The Girlie Show in 1994.
She acted as Radio 1 breakfast presenter from 2000 to 2003 before moving to the station’s weekend lunchtime show.
Annie Mac took over last month when Cox went on maternity leave.

Let’s hope the baby’s name is Isaac Cyzer and NOT Isaac Cox… Isaac with Cox can sound pretty bad if you think about it.

She looks like she wasnt ready for the camera..cute babe I dont like “Isaac” tooo trendy right now..Ivan would have been a better choice & Lola is slang for breasts in some hispanic nations.
Her outfit is not quite right….Although she most probs isn’t trying too hard on this day.

Geesh, she could be buying it for someone else. The baby looks normal in the picture, so I doubt she drank two bottles of wine/champagne by herself. The bottles of sparkling cider here look just like that.

D’Anna if you read it ,it says: The DJ leaving radio 1 for maternity leave last month and i didn’t say that she drank it herself and i also said “i dont think that has any alcohol in it though”

The bottles are champagne. This was her leaving at the end of her last day at work and she is carrying all her gifts – not out buying alcohol!
