Myleene Klass brought her her eight-month-old baby daughter, Ava, with her to Cannes.

Myleene paraded up La Croisette – where one goes to see and be seen – pushing baby Ava in her buggy. Later, they went for dinner, but Myleene made sure to keep her daughter entertained with a series of funny faces.

And despite her recent claims that she was finding it difficult to combine work and motherhood, a relaxed Myleene appeared to be making a pretty good go of it.

The star who found fame in the television reality show Popstars recently revealed her struggle to combine motherhood with her burgeoning career.

Myleene, who only gave birth to daughter Ava last August, admitted that her punishing work schedule as a TV and radio presenter and model was beginning to take its toll.

She said: “I think the ‘yummy mummy’ tag is really funny. I don’t feel that yummy first thing in the morning or during the night feeds. Mums with multiple children – I just don’t know how they do it.

“I am tired, tired all the time,” she says. “Sometimes I feel like crying because I am so tired. People say I make it look easy, but I don’t have any of the answers, I’m still trying to figure things out.

She revealed her seven-year relationship with Quinn has been so strained since Ava was born three weeks prematurely last August, and said she is sick of people deriding her for her ambition.

“In the weeks after Ava was born I genuinely wanted to kill him,” she said.

“I was knackered from looking after the baby and then he would come home and say something worthy of murder like: ‘Jeez, I’m so tired, I haven’t eaten all day.’ I wasn’t in a good place and I even told one of my friends that I was going to leave Gray.”

She added: “I don’t want people to think I don’t appreciate my life – or that I am moaning. I know that I am lucky. Sometimes I walk around my new house and I can’t believe it’s mine. And when Ava wakes me up in the morning by grabbing my nose I know I have never been happier.

“All I am saying is that while being a mother is the most fulfilling thing I have ever done, it hasn’t been easy.”

Myleene worked right up to having Ava – she went into labour while presenting The One Show on the BBC – and was back at work just three weeks after Ava was born.

Good for her for admitting things aren’t always easy…as some celebs seem to express.

Well, for someone who is a new mum, she certainly has enough to say about her self!
Myleene has always been me, me, me.

She just complains all the time. Is she shocked that motherhood is a self-sacrifice? We all have had some of these feelings but you buck up and take the change with some grace.
She’s in denial that her life actually had to change with a new baby—someone to focus on besides herself!

I don’t know who this chick is, but how cute is that little pookie in the onesie.

Also, mom may be a tad depressed.

Could she not have found a cuter outfit for the baby for this special event?

Sounds like she just wants publicity and likes the sound of her own voice. Funny comment about the Rock – you are very right ;-)

Oh I totally agree with her, do’nt get me wrong I do think motherhood is wonderfull and I feel very blessed but I agree with her, you do feel stressed out cuz you’re so so tired. I also go through the exact same feeling with my husband, I really feel like leaving him during the first months.. My suggestions motherhood can be different experiences for everybody, please do not judge her until you are a mother yourself.. she’s just being honest with what she’s going through.. some people are lucky enough to have a nanny.. some aren’t, some are better with it, some takes time to get used to.. please be kind.

    Thanks

a mother of young baby my self
