Matthew McConaughey & Camila Alves Introduce Levi!

Matthew McConaughey and his girlfriend Camila Alves, welcomed their first son, Levi Alves McConaughey, on July 7th. They opened up to OK! Magazine about becoming parents.
On the delivery of the baby: “We found a great rhythm. Contractions started kicking in. I sat there with her, right between her legs. We got tribal on it, we danced to it! I was DJ-ing this Brazilian music.”
On the entire hospital experience as a proud father: “I have it all chronicled,” he explained. “Becoming a dad is something I’ve dreamed of doing since I was 10. Becoming a father felt very, very natural. We were jamming! She was sweating. No painkiller, let’s go. She just clicked into that gear that only a woman has at a time like this. We’d been up for 40-something hours, and we went from dead tired to a really steadfast, ‘Let’s handle this… let’s stay in the rhythm. Don’t let the contraction be more than you.’”
Camila, 25, wanted a natural birth and chose not to have an epidural. But in the end, Matthew told OK! magazine that it came down to what was safest for both mom and baby.
“We ended up having an epidural because, on the large contractions, the umbilical cord was being compressed. They went in and tried the vacuum. This is where I learned — and no one tells you this — but having a baby is a bloody, pukey, sweaty, primeval thing! And I mean that as a beautiful thing. It is wild. But the vacuum didn’t work, and the doctor said, ‘C-section.’
On finding out the sex of the baby during the pregnancy: “I said, ‘Come here, little man. I saw the pecker and screamed that we’d been right all along about him being a boy. Then I brought him over to Camila.’”
“It was neat to find out what the sex was because we didn’t have the doctor tell us beforehand,” Camila agreed.
On who Levi looks like: “Everybody thinks he looks like me because of the hair and skin tone,” Camila said. “I think he looks more like Matthew every day.”
Matthew added, “I’ve pulled out some baby pictures of myself, and the resemblance is amazing. This kid has a lot to learn from us. I want him to come out being a little wiser, a little cooler and a little happier than we are.”

He looks like a cute little baby boy. At this age all babies look pretty much the same. He hasn’t developed his looks yet. But sweet very sweet.

Tell me somethingWM is every thread in here out of a tabloid magazine? It seems this is where you get your information. It would be nice if you would actually do some research and get facts.

. laila – Do you mean this article? Even though this is a tab, those are actual words from Matthew and Camilla. He was paid 3million to do this plus one more cover in the next few months.

A lot of C and D listers talk to actual tabs. No one else would care, the major magazines, so they do talk to rags. You can tell when they have actually quoted the person by thier name and the article has an actual writer credited. The made up ones don’t have a writer credited, and just say “a friend” or “source.”
This is a legitimate interview. It is the facts.

The baby is very cute. I think he looks more like Camilla right now, maybe its just his dark hair. No doubt he will be a cutie, probably surfing by 2, lol.

No Nicki didn’t mean this article in particular but I am noticing a trend here. Lately the news in here is all tabloid. So I tend not beieve a lot of it.
