Stunning 60 Minutes reporter Lara Logan, 37, is expecting her first child in January 2009. Lara, whose pregnancy was unplanned, said that she is “looking forward to being a mom.” Lara said that she lost one of her fallopian tubes during an ectopic pregnancy years ago and believed at her age it was highly unlikely that she could get pregnant.

The father is Joe Burkett, a civilian contractor that she met while in Baghdad. Joe Burkett is currently embroiled in a nasty divorce from his wife, with whom he has a 3-year-old daughter, Ashley.

Lara was born in Durban, South Africa. She has been going through a divorce from her husband of nine years, Jason Siemon, a former European-league basketball player.

Lara and Joe plan to marry once their divorces are finalized.
