An Expectant Rebecca Romijn Says, “I’m A Beached Whale!”

November 6th, 2008

An expectant Rebecca Romijn is amazed at how big her bump has gotten! Rebecca is expecting twin girls this winter.

“I can’t move anymore … I’m a beached whale!” she told Page Six magazine. “I have not been without a bra this entire pregnancy. I refuse. I’m not taking any chances. I’m determined to keep the puppies up!”

(In September, her husband Jerry O’Connell apologized for calling Rebecca “huge” on Late Night With Conan O’Brien!)

Rebecca, 36, also insists that she she did not do in vitro to get pregnant.

“A year ago, we tried [the fertility drug] Clomid for a couple of months unsuccessfully,” said Rebecca. “But by the second month, I was like, ‘Ahhh! I hate this!’ I think when you start messing with your own hormones, it’s crazy-making.”

She also denies claims that she and John Stamos split in 2004 because she did not want children.

“There is absolutely no truth to that. That [story] was completely made up,” she said. “I desperately wanted kids. I was never a girl who dreamed about what her wedding day would be like, but I’ve always dreamed about decorating my baby’s nursery.”

“I knew early on he would be a fantastic dad,” she shares of Jerry. “He’s a pragmatic, smart, savvy, enthusiastic person. He really lives his life with tremendous integrity, and he’s a healthy person in every single way.”

yeah, its kind of annoying when they keep making it sound like she’s sooo enormous and huge and in reality she looks great. I hope she just enjoys her pregnancy and isnt so caught up in the whole weight thing.

Not a very nice headline at all. I don’t like the way she speaks about herself. Wait and see within a week or two after the birth she’ll be back to normal size, working out like crazy.

She looks so good – but remember she has a ways to go, right? I saw Jerry on Conan and it was all in fun. They seem like a nice couple. Her ex was a dope to let her go.

She needs to wait until the lat month, THEN she will be a beached whale. Still beautiful none-the-less.

She looks pretty small for twins! I’d be nervous if I was only that big & full term, I think it must be an earlier picture.
