Niloofar, kayleigh & n.a.h.b.k.Thanksgiving Day is a harvest festival. Traditionally, it is a time to give thanks for the harvest and express gratitude in general. It is primarily a North American holiday which has generally become a national secular holiday with religious origins. Thanksgiving dinner is held on this day, usually as a gathering of family members.
Turkeys are the main meal usually.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, even more than Christmas. I love all the decorations, the Fall season, all the pumpkin goodies, and a joyful time to express our thanks and fellowship with our family and friends.
Turkey and Pumpkin Pie are the main foods associated with this wonderful with the spirit of being grateful and giving and helping others. The word Thanks in Thanksgiving says it all!
