Alison Sweeney wasn’t expecting to give birth on January 12th. However, when went into the hospital for a check-up in full hair and makeup after a long day on the set of The Biggest Loser, Alison, then 9-months pregnant, recalled, “My doctor was a little concerned and said, ‘I don’t want to leave her in there one more day!’”

Alison, 31, was induced and gave birth to Megan Hope Sanov at 11:48 that same night.

At home in Los Angeles, little Megan already has her dad, “wrapped around her little finger,” Alison said. Big brother Ben, 4, is equally adoring: “He pets her on the head and calls her cutie-pie!”

Megan’s nursery is decorated in pink and brown tones with sage green accents, a feminine chandelier, and traditional Bellini furniture. Tradition also dictated Megan’s name: “There have been a lot of quirky, unusual celebrity baby names. But we wanted people to be able to spell it. We wanted it to be more timeless,” Alison told People magazine.

Alison also opened up about her post-baby workout routine. Alison has been turning to her Nintendo Wii for help. She uses a new fitness program, called EA Active, and has been following its lead to help lose the baby weight.

“When do I have time to go to the gym?,” asked Alison. “It really is like a personal trainer in a box. It’s perfect. I recommend it to all mothers!”

Hmmm….she seems to be plugging EA Active because she is a spokeswoman for it. It certainly could be working for her, but I feel a little suspicious when celebs go out of their way to plug something that they are promoting.
