Ugly Betty star Ana Oritz and her husband, musician Noah Lebenzon, have welcomed their first child – a daughter.

“She is elated and completely glowing,” said Ana’s rep. “She is surrounded by her friends and family and so happy to be a mom. She is just really enjoying the moment. The baby is absolutely beautiful.”

The baby girl was born at 4:25 p.m. on Saturday in New York City and weighed 7 lbs., 10 oz.

Ana and Noah have yet to choose a name but are working from a short list of five choices, and taking the time to get to know her before picking one that fits. “We haven’t decided on a name yet,” Ana told People magazine from the hospital. “But we are getting close.”

In the days leading up to the birth, Ana, 38, said she was “anxiously awaiting” but well prepared for the big day. “My husband’s phone number is on speed dial, my deep yoga breaths have been practiced and my bags are all packed except for the toothbrushes, so I’m all set. I’m ready to have the baby!”

When asked what kind of mom she would like to be, Ana said she’ll strive to be tolerant. “I hope to be a patient mother because I’m not a patient person,” she said. “So I’m hoping to be a patient one, and it will be the most rewarding test ever.”

With her Ugly Betty cast members already calling and sending gifts to the hospital, Ana’s TV son, Mark Indelicato, could not be more thrilled and says she has just the right personality traits in being an incredible mom.

“She will be an amazing mom,” Mark told People magazine. “Ana has the biggest heart and she’s so loving. She’s also laidback and chill but at the same time she’s forceful and knows how to discipline someone if she has to be. It’s the perfect combination in being a great mom. She’s done it with me a bunch of times when I got out of line. She’s definitely my second mom.”
