Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise went to Connor’s Little League game on Monday without little Suri. Suri will turn one month old on May 18. Katie looks great, but it seems sunglasses are getting HUGE these days!

Here’s Katie at Barney’s in Beverly Hills Wednessay night. Katie just keeps shopping, and for ultra sexy high heels! She probably has one of those gorgeous gold-gilded walk in closets ala Mariah Carey! And her nesting instinct is in overdrive as she awaits her baby’s arrival! Well, her dress is very proper for a woman near the end of her pregnancy…it is very sweet and fresh looking.

Well…there is no denying that these photos are lovely. Katie looks breathtaking and Tom looks quite dapper and gentlemanly. I know….they are professionally done photos captured through the lens of some revered photographer no doubt, but they are gorgeous!
Tom reveals in the GQ magazine article how he discovered that Holmes was pregnant: “Oh, I—I looked at her. And I went, ‘You’re gonna tell me if you’re pregnant, aren’t you?’ It was a moment where… It was one of those things. And I knew at that moment she was pregnant. ’Cuz I notice things in people.”
Don’t forget to catch Tom on Primetime with Diane Sawyer tonight…should be dazzzling!

This should be VERY interesting! Tom will be on ABC’s Primetime with Diane Sawyer this Friday night(April 14th) at 9. I’m sure he will be sobbing about his horrific childhood and defending himself against the whole adult pacifier he got for Katie thing, etc!

Katie was spotted yesterday doing some shopping at an upscale paper goods boutique. She bought cards, crafty papers and some photo albums. It is refreshing to see her out-and-about without Tom hovering all over her! It is nice to see her enjoying a little independence! And she manages to look so CUTE and polished even though she is ready to pop!

The man who interviewed Tom and Katie for the Parade article is shocked by Katie’s behavior during the interview. Not only did he find her “dazed, passive, and vacant” but he said that she eerily couldn’t stop smiling throughout the entire interview…even when Tom was describing the beatings his father gave him. Maybe she already had the baby and the baby is being cared for by L. Ron Hubbard and they are keeping Katie sedated and happy with Percocets.
Here Katie, 27, is at the Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills doing a bit more of her new favorite hobby…shopping!

Seems as though Tom’s PR folks are trying mighty hard to whip up some good old-fashioned sympathy for the guy. They know everyone is angry with him and are giving the “poor little Tom” story a good push. Remember when he took a jab at Brooke Shields when she has post-partum depression after her daughter Rowan was born? Yikes! I hope Katie doesn’t suffer from post-partum depression as I doubt that Tom would be very sympathetic.
In an intriguing new interview out this weekend in PARADE magazine, Tom Cruise talks candidly about his father — a father he claims was abusive and “a merchant of chaos.”
Speaking at his home to PARADE Contributing Editor Dotson Rader, Tom says his childhood was difficult. “I had no really close friend, someone who understands you. I was always the new kid with the wrong shoes, the wrong accent. I didn’t have the friend to share things with and confide in.” He says that loneliness, combined with a father who he calls “a bully and a coward,” made growing up extremely hard.
Tom says his father was “the kind of person where, if something goes wrong, they kick you. It was a great lesson in my life — how he’d lull you in, make you feel safe and then, bang! For me, it was like, ‘There’s something wrong with this guy. Don’t trust him. Be careful around him.’ There’s that anxiety.”
As a young boy, Cruise could not read and was placed in remedial classes. That, he says, combined with his small stature, made him feel isolated and excluded — and also caused him to be picked on. “So many times the big bully comes up, pushes me,” he said. “Your heart’s pounding, you sweat, and you feel like you’re going to vomit. I’m not the biggest guy, I never liked hitting someone, but I know if I don’t hit that guy hard he’s going to pick on me all year. I go, ‘You better fight.’ I just laid it down. I don’t like bullies.”
Cruise also discusses his two previous marriages to Mimi Rogers and Nicole Kidman. “I don’t forget the good times I had with those people,” he says. “I’m respectful of what we had together. I don’t try to think about every horrible thing there was. But you don’t live life and not know heartache, sorrow and fear. You learn that those things are just part of life. That takes some doing, but it can be done.”
Before ending the interview, Cruise introduced Rader to his his current fiancee Katie Holmes. In the article, Rader describes her as “dazed, passive and vacant.”
“He began hooting how beautiful she was,” says the author. “Touching and kissing her like a teenage boy on his first backseat date, aware that he was being watched.”
This sounds very weird to me!

Katie at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills having a little shopping fun before baby! She is truly due any minute, and it seems she is taking charge! Maybe her parents are helping her out more and she is feeling strong and clear about what she wants. It seems she plans to deliver at a very posh maternity ward at the Catholic hospital St. John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. It is the same hospital that Heidi Klum gave birth at. Delivery in the maternity unit costs $20,000 to $35,000, but is apparently worth every penny as it is like staying at The Four Seasons. I hope she has a wonderful delivery and a healthy baby!
