Danish Royals Celebrate Isabella’s First Birthday
Prince Frederik and Princess Mary celebrated Isabella’s April 23rd birthday with a low key family celebration at home in Fredensborg, Denmark.
An official photo to mark the event shows just how much Isabella has grown. Isabella is shown mesmerised by the candle on top of a heart-shaped cake.
At the moment the youngster is still cared for at home by her parents and two nannies. It’s thought she’ll follow in the footsteps of her two-year-old brother Prince Christian in six months, however, by joining him at the local day nursery which he attends.
The family had returned to spend Isabella’s first birthday at home after a trip to Florida, where 39-year-old Frederik was competing in a sailing competition scheduled as part of the run up to this year’s world championships. Christian and his Tasmania-born mum cheered on Frederik’s vessel Nanoq which scored an overall position of four out of 33.

The photos of Prince Felipe with wife Princess Letizia, Princess Leonor, two, and nine-month-old Sofia in the gardens of the Zarzuela Palace on the outskirts of Madrid are beautiful!

Princess Ingrid Celebrates Her Fourth Birthday
Princess Ingrid (who will someday be Norway’s first ever reigning queen) celebrated her fourth birthday on Monday. Her parents Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit, who are keen to give their daughter as normal a childhood as possible, released a special home-video and photographs to share the happy family occasion.
The images show Princess Ingrid joined by her mom, dad, older half-brother Marcus and younger brother Sverre Magnus, 2, at their sprawling Skaugum estate southwest of Oslo.

Crown Prince Willem-Alexander (the future king of the Netherlands) and Crown Princess Maxima’s three daughters were photographed while on holiday in Argentina. (Princess Maxima is from Argentina) Amalia is 4, Alexia is 2 and Ariane is 11-months-old.

The Earl & Countess Of Essex Take Their Baby Son Home For Christmas
The royal family’s traditional Sandringham Christmas celebrations this year will be extra magical! The Earl and Countess of Wessex brought their newborn son home to their Bagshot Park residence today.
The couple proudly showed off the little boy to crowds of assembled well-wishers who had gathered to get a first glimpse as the trio left Surrey’s Frimley Park Hospital. He was delivered by Caesarean section on Monday.
They have yet to decide on a name for the child, who will be known as Viscount Severn, saying they would rather get to know him before they make a decision.
“He is the perfect Christmas present,” says a spokesperson for Sophie and Prince Edward of the youngster. “Sophie is very, very happy. She has been full of big smiles and is very bubbly.”
