Matthew McConaughey and his girlfriend Camila Alves, welcomed their first son, Levi Alves McConaughey, on July 7th. They opened up to OK! Magazine about becoming parents.
On the delivery of the baby: “We found a great rhythm. Contractions started kicking in. I sat there with her, right between her legs. We got tribal on it, we danced to it! I was DJ-ing this Brazilian music.”
On the entire hospital experience as a proud father: “I have it all chronicled,” he explained. “Becoming a dad is something I’ve dreamed of doing since I was 10. Becoming a father felt very, very natural. We were jamming! She was sweating. No painkiller, let’s go. She just clicked into that gear that only a woman has at a time like this. We’d been up for 40-something hours, and we went from dead tired to a really steadfast, ‘Let’s handle this… let’s stay in the rhythm. Don’t let the contraction be more than you.’”
Camila, 25, wanted a natural birth and chose not to have an epidural. But in the end, Matthew told OK! magazine that it came down to what was safest for both mom and baby.
“We ended up having an epidural because, on the large contractions, the umbilical cord was being compressed. They went in and tried the vacuum. This is where I learned — and no one tells you this — but having a baby is a bloody, pukey, sweaty, primeval thing! And I mean that as a beautiful thing. It is wild. But the vacuum didn’t work, and the doctor said, ‘C-section.’
On finding out the sex of the baby during the pregnancy: “I said, ‘Come here, little man. I saw the pecker and screamed that we’d been right all along about him being a boy. Then I brought him over to Camila.’”
“It was neat to find out what the sex was because we didn’t have the doctor tell us beforehand,” Camila agreed.
On who Levi looks like: “Everybody thinks he looks like me because of the hair and skin tone,” Camila said. “I think he looks more like Matthew every day.”
Matthew added, “I’ve pulled out some baby pictures of myself, and the resemblance is amazing. This kid has a lot to learn from us. I want him to come out being a little wiser, a little cooler and a little happier than we are.”

Jessica Alba is enjoying her time with newborn daughter Honor Marie, friend and Sin City co-star Jaime King shared with Us magazine.
“She loves motherhood,” Jaime, 29, revealed to Us magazine at the Bow Wow Wow for Much Love Animal Rescue at the Playboy Mansion in Holmby Hills, CA on Saturday.
Jaime said she saw Jessica, 26, the night she was preparing to go to the hospital to deliver Honor, who was born on June 7th.
“I think that pregnancy for her was an amazing experience,” Jaime added. “I am just really happy for her. I am hoping to see her this week.”
Are children in Jaime’s future?
“Absolutely,” she told Us magazine. “I want at least three. Hopefully soon! We will see.”
Jaime has been married to director Kyle Newman since November.
“Marriage is the best thing you can do for a relationship,” Jaime said. “It just makes you feel really solid and strong in your relationship.”

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren welcomed their first child, daughter Honor Marie Warren, on June 7th. Having a baby is “by far the most profound, beautiful thing we could have ever done,” Jessica told OK! magazine.
Jessica was determined not to give her daughter a common name as hers was very popular growing up. “One of my friends said, ‘If I ever had a girl — but I’m not having any more kids — I’ll name her Honor,’” Jessica explained. “I said ‘That’s a great name for a boy or a girl.’”
The two agree their daughter loooks more like dad than mom, which is a big relief to Cash. “I want her to look like me, because a daughter looking like Jessica, I’d kill myself!” he joked.
With the always fashionable Jessica Alba as a mom, Honor will no doubt be a well-dressed little girl.
It sounds like both Jessica and Cash were born to be parents. “Cash is such a good husband and father,” Jessica shared. “I’m so proud of him.” As for the actress, she’s “always had a motherly quality,” Cash said.
Honor’s bedtime buddies include a stuffed bunny and a namesake bear.
“I just want to squeeze her and hug her so tight,” Jessica gushed.
Honor already has personally engraved Tiffany & Co. products!
Are there more kids in Cash and Jessica’s future? “We definitely want more kids — within the decade!” Cash exclaimed.
Gorgeous pics! Cash’s statement made me laugh…I’ve never heard anyone say that they wanted more kids, “within the decade!” And I highly doubt that Jessica appreciates hearing that her daughter doesn’t look as much like her as she does her husband!

Interesting new details about the birth of Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline continue to emerge!
“Ange’s Emotional Double Birth: She insists, ‘My mother’s spirit was in the room”‘, emotes Woman’s Day on its cover, adding, somewhat creepily, in a small blue circle, “Visit From The Grave”. The article inside reports that Brad Pitt has told friends that Angelina “appeared at one point during the birth to be bathed in a strange white light” and that he cried so much he had to lie in the dark with cucumber on his eyes “to get down the swelling”.
Also, once Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline had been safely born, Brad and Angelina drank vintage Krug champagne and ate Angelina’s favorite chips, barbecue-flavoured, shipped from the US to France by Brad.

Christian Bale was snapped with daughter Emmaline, 3, at Starbucks in L.A. on Saturday.
I always end up being extorted for those pricy little chocolate milks at Starbucks too!
In rather strange news, Christian Bale was arrested Tuesday for allegedly assaulting his 61-year-old mother and 40-year-old sister, according to London’s Daily Telegraph.
The incident allegedly occurred at a west London hotel on Sunday (the night before the European premiere of The Dark Knight). His mother and sister went to police on Monday.
A police spokesman — who declined to identify Christian, 34 - told the London Telegraph: “A 34-year-old man attended a London Police Station on Tuesday by appointment and was arrested in connection with an allegation of assault. He remains in custody.”
Christian appeared to be undeterred by the news at Monday’s premiere of The Dark Knight in London.
He told Us magazine that it felt “great” supporting the movie as he walked the carpet with his wife Sibi.

Jessica recently shared about some of her new concerns now that she is a mother.
Jessica worries her newborn daughter will contract a virus - because she was always sick as a child. Jessica went so far as to study her mother’s pregnancy diet, and eat everything she didn’t - in a bid to make sure her child was healthy. She even made sure she took different medications.
Jessica explained, “I was always being sent home sick from school and sometimes I was out for weeks. If I got a cold, I automatically got pneumonia. Sometimes it was so bad I was in the hospital.
“I’ve come to think that perhaps I was a product of my environment or the vaccines, or something my mother took when she was pregnant.”
