Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes is expecting his second baby, his rep has confirmed.

Chris, 42, and girlfriend of nearly two years, Allison Bridges, “will welcome their first child in early 2010,” his rep shared.

Chris is parent to Ryder, 5, his son with Kate Hudson, whom he split from in 2006 after six years of marriage.

Kate Hudson, 29, opened up about life with her 4-year-old son, Ryder in the September issue of W magazine.

“He’s superathletic,” she shares. “I just signed him up for tennis camp. He’s very good at riding a bike-no training wheels. And he’s skiing! I was at that age too, but not as good as he is.”

Kate was only 24 when she gave birth to Ryder, and the fact that she spent what many would consider their prime Hollywood partying years breast-feeding and packing lunches doesn’t really make much of an impression on her. “Am I gonna look back and say, God, I wish I could have gone to that…that…concert?” she asked, making the same sour-lemon face of disdain she gives repeat costar Matthew McConaughey when he says something particularly idiotic onscreen. “I’d rather be listening to my son sing songs. I’d rather be watching him sleep.”

Kate Hudson’s son Ryder, 4, wants to cut his hair so that he can look like Lance Armstrong! Kate and Lance have been dating for two months. Ryder always wanted to be exactly like his dad, rocker Chris Robinson, so he never let Kate cut his hair, says a friend close to Kate. “But now that Lance is in the picture, Ryder wants Kate to lop off his locks so he can be as cool as Lance.”

Heading the list of People’s 100 Most Beautiful People is a 29-year-old mother remarkably short on her beauty sleep – for which she lovingly credits her active 4-year-old son.

The beautiful, sleep-deprived mom? Kate Hudson, People reveals in its special issue.

Was she always such a head-turner? Admits the actress: “I was a tomboy. I had three brothers. I was the girl with the dress on that always came back in the house filthy with scrapes and bruises. But I was always very girly. I had to be able to twirl so that my underwear showed.”

Her best time for looking good, she says, comes “at the end of the night, when everything’s soaked in and I’m still up. I like the leftover makeup in the morning. You’ve got to wash your face but there’s always the leftover eye makeup, I love that.”

Kate Hudson recently opened up about her readiness to have another baby…and need to find the right man! 

“I need to find that 18-year-old in me again, who was way more adventurous when it came to kissing boys,” she told the U.K.’s Sunday Times. “I would love nothing more than to have a good, honest make out sesh, but I find it really hard because I’m a mom.”

Kate split from Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson in 2006, and have a 4-year-old son, Ryder.

“Any guy I ever meet is always going to come second to my son,” Kate, 28, told the paper. “And you get to weed out the boys from the men. You definitely know which ones are the boys.”

So far, it seems Owen Wilson has made the cut. The duo – who split last summer but are now back on-again – were even spotted on an Easter-day bike ride with Ryder.

“I’m a mom and that’s my first priority,” said Kate. “I can’t wait to have more. I’m at that place when I’m ready to have another one and Chris and I are not together. I’m like, ‘Oh no! Uh-oh! I’m ready.’ “
