Nicole Kidman Discusses The Baby Bump Rumors

bump

Nicole Kidman recently shared that she may scale back her movie career to focus on having more babies. And there has been some speculation that she may already be expecting again!

“No, I just have a little tummy,” insisted Nicole, 41, – whose form-fitting dress had some bloggers speculating about a possible “baby bump” at Tuesday’s premiere of her new film, Australia. She laughingly adds, “My god, I just had a baby four months ago – give me a break!”

Nicole made the declaration Friday, when she called in to the “Kyle and Jackie O Show” on Sydney’s 2DAY F.M.

“I think I’ve always had a little tummy, though, it runs in the family,” shared Nicole. “My sister does, my mum does, my grandmother did …. We affectionately refer to it as the ‘little tummy.’ “

Nicole also gushed about her new daughter, Sunday Rose, with husband Keith Urban. “I’m just completely besotted with her,” Nicole said. “She was singing up a storm this morning …. She’s just discovered her voice. She’s high and low. Other people may call it screaming – but not to me!”

Nicole Kidman admitted she was “reeling” at Tuesday’s Sydney premiere of her new epic Australia from missing her baby daughter.

Nicole and Keith had to leave 4-month-old daughter Sunday Rose back home in Nashville.

“I had to leave her for 24 hours,” Nicole, 41, told reporters at the city’s Museum of Contemporary Art. “I haven’t done that yet, and so I’m still reeling.”

Nicole said missing the premiere was simply not an option.

“This is a once in a lifetime thing. I mean, rarely do you get to make a film that you’ve dreamt of making since you were little,” said the Australia native. “So when I was flying back with Keith we were so excited. … This is a celebration for me, and hopefully for this country.”

“In terms of my future as an actor and stuff, I don’t know,” she said. “I mean, I’m in a place in my life where I’ve had some great opportunities – but I may just choose to have some more children.”

Besides, she said, “There’s many things I want to do besides act.” And whatever that may be, “I’m very at peace.”

Nicole is obviously very beautiful, but she should seriously sue the doctor who botoxed her! It looks like she had a botox overdose. She would look so much MORE beautiful without it.

Nicole Kidman: “The Mother Is The Heartbeat Of The Family”

nov11kidman

Nicole Kidman, who welcomed daughter Sunday Rose at age 41, wants more babies.

“I would love more children - but that’s up to God!” she told reporters Monday at Glamour’s Women of the Year awards in NYC. (She declined to say whether she would adopt again: “That’s too personal.”)

Her newborn daughter, whom she and husband Keith Urban welcomed in July, “is amazing. She’s an easy baby,” Nicole added.

“She’s giggling,” said Nicole, who showed off a photo of her daughter on Monday’s Oprah Winfrey Show.

Nicole, a UNIFEM Goodwill Ambassador, was among the honorees at Glamour’s Woman of the Year.

“My mother,” Nicole replied when asked what inspires her. “When you’re raised by a woman who has strong beliefs and is opinionated and compassionate – you’re lucky! I will always
give her credit!

“If you take care of the women in the family – the mother in the family – then the children will be taken care of,” she said. “We can all attest that the mother is the heartbeat of the family, and if you take care of her,
everybody does well.”

Nicole Kidman’s Daughter Is Reading The Encyclopedia!

(In the above pic Nicole was snapped holding Sunday Rose as she left her sister Antonia’s residence on August 7th in Sydney, Australia)

Nicole Kidman’s baby girl is very advanced!

“She is smiling. She is reading the encyclopedia!” Nicole joked to Us magazine about three-month-old daughter Sunday Rose, at Elle magazine’s 15th Annual Women in Hollywood event in Beverly Hills on Monday.

“It’s lovely to be part of the celebration,” Nicole told Us magazine. “I have been having a baby and down in Tennessee so to step back into all of this is a bit of a shock. I think when you have been away from it, you appreciate it more so I have a lot of appreciation and gratitude.”

Nicole also shared about playing matchmaker.

Nicole revealed that she wants her daughter to wed fellow Aussie actor Russell Crowe’s son Tennyson.

“We had a play date probably about a month ago and we were like, ‘These two would be really cute together,’ They were born on the same day [two years apart],” Nicole told Extra.

Russell confessed to Extra the night before, … “I think Nicole sees that as a form of destiny and she’s ready to do deal now.”

Nicole opened up to the November issue of Elle about being a mother at age 41.

“At 41, it’s more of a painful love. I look at that little girl, and I’m like, ‘Oh, no, what’s going to happen?’ It’s almost like my heart is stretching; I’m feeling all the muscles stretch with emotion. It’s a beautiful love, but there’s a lot of fear and pain for her life, and for Bella’s and Connor’s life.

“I like to believe that nothing was stopping Sunday from coming into the world,” she added.

“When it comes to my kids, I’m just like a lioness,” Nicole said. “I’m like, ‘No one gets near my babies! That’s why we chose not to sell photos of her. We just want to have our little cocoon.”

Did Waterfalls Help Nicole Kidman Become Pregnant?

Nicole Kidman said swimming in waterfalls in the Australian Outback may promote fertility and might have contributed to her recent unexpected pregnancy.

The 41-year-old Aussie, who gave birth to daughter Sunday Rose in July, said she and six other women who swam in the waters of a small Outback town during production of the epic romance “Australia” became pregnant.

“I never thought that I would get pregnant and give birth to a child, but it happened on this movie,” Kidman told The Australian Women’s Weekly in an exclusive interview for the magazine’s 75th anniversary edition.

“Seven babies were conceived out of this film and only one was a boy. There is something up there in the Kununurra water because we all went swimming in the waterfalls, so we can call it the fertility waters now.”

“Australia,” directed by Baz Luhrmann, was filmed in Kununurra, a small town in far northern Western Australia state. The film, about a noblewoman on a cattle drive in Australia during World War II, is due for release in November, 2008.

The actress also commented on the relatively small size of her baby bump during her pregnancy.

“I’m so lucky I’m so tall, so I carried small and also, I have to say, I had a birth that I was blessed with, a labor that was very good and a baby that was very good to me in that regard,” said Kidman, who is married to country music singer Keith Urban and has two adopted children with ex-husband Tom Cruise.

“To be given this again is a beautiful thing. To have raised Bella and Connor since I was 25 and now to be able to do it again at 41 … wow!”

Nicole Kidman & Keith Urban Talk About Sunday Rose

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman surprised a lot of Australian radio listeners today when they called in to a popular Sydney morning show to talk about their newborn baby girl Sunday Rose.

Nicole and Keith returned to Australia last night with Sunday Rose for their first trip back since the birth of their daughter in the US on July 7th.

The couple, who were greeted by a small group of media when they flew into Sydney on a private plane, today called a Sydney radio station to plead with journalists and photographers to back off while they show their new daughter their home town.

The proud parents enthused about their love for their “little four-weeker”.

“She looks like Keith. I think she does,” Nicole told the Kyle and Jackie O breakfast radio show on 2Day FM.

“She’s got a little bit of hair, it’s a bit of a reddish tint.”

Keith said being a new dad was an “awesome” feeling that only other dads could understand.

“Anybody out there who’s got kids (knows) it’s just a certain kind of feeling that you can only experience when you do it,” he said.

“She’s just awesome … cute little thing.

“I’m not looking forward to having to go on tour and having to leave.”

Nicole said she had enjoyed a “surprisingly” smooth delivery, with her husband, mother and sister by her side and she was now looking forward to introducing her little “doll” to the rest of her family.

Nicole said her delivery had been made easier by the presence of her mother, who is a nurse and midwife, and her sister Antonia who has had four children.

“They say a lot of it (delivery) has to do with how your sister and your mother gave birth, so luckily my sister’s had four children … and that was pretty easy for her too,” she said.

“My mum was a nurse too and also she’s a midwife so we were surrounded … but we also had wonderful nurses at the hospital.

“I’m embarrassed now. That’s too much information on a breakfast show.”

The couple pleaded with photographers to let them introduce Sunday Rose to Sydney and her other three grandparents in peace.

“Keith and I are both appealing to the press and stuff just to give us a little space so we can walk around Sydney and show the baby our town,” Nicole said.

“She’s tiny. She’s like a doll, she’s like a little, little thing.

“Just (don’t photograph) right in her face or in our faces because it’s scary for her.”

Keith said he understood the media interest, but that people had to think about the effect it could have on their little girl.

“I get it. I get the interest there is,” he said.

“But at the same time it’s our little girl.

“Sometimes when people come right up in your face and you think: ‘Good God, would you do that to anybody else’s child?’ That’s all.”

The media last night followed the family to their exclusive Darling Point mansion with the couple using several decoy cars to try to avoid photographers.

No photographs of Sunday Rose have been released and Keith today confirmed that the couple had no intention of selling any.
