Celine Dion’s Husband Confirms That She Is No Longer Pregnant

dion

Celine Dion is no longer pregnant, her husband has confirmed.

Rene Angelil told Canadian newspaper Journal de Montreal that the latest in vitro fertilization treatment she underwent last month was unsuccessful.

“We’re living the reality of the majority of couples who face these procreation techniques,” he told the paper.

Celine, 41, who was due to give birth in May, confirmed this past August that she was expecting.

Celine and Rene have an 8-year-old son, Rene-Charles, who was conceived by in vitro fertilization after six years of trying. While trying to conceive her first child, she had her embryos frozen in liquid nitrogen.

When she finished her concert run in Las Vegas in 2007, she consulted Dr. Zev Rosenwaks in New York City about trying to conceive again.

Celine (who is the youngest of 14 children) has long talked about wanting to have more kids.

“We’d love to extend the family,” she said on CBS’ The Early Show last December.

Sarah Michelle Gellar Says That Motherhood Was Well Worth The Wait

People Sarah Michelle Gellar Freddie Prinze Jr

Sarah Michelle Gellar recently explained why she waited so long to start a family with her husband, Freddie Prinze Jr.

“I always say, the minute you start dating someone, people ask, ‘When are you getting engaged?’ And the minute you get engaged, they ask, ‘When are you getting married?’ “ Sarah Michelle told People magazine. “And then the minute you get married, they ask, ‘When are you having a baby?’ “

Sarah Michelle, 32, and Freddie Prinze Jr., 33, waited seven years before welcoming their daughter, Charlotte Grace, on September 19th.

“Becoming a parent is the most selfless act, and you need to be at a point in your life where you can give up anything and everything for a child,” Sarah Michelle said of waiting to start a family. “I don’t know if you know how to do that when you’re in your 20s.”

Her husband agreed: “I’m so happy we didn’t have kids in our 20s – I just didn’t know a thing. You have so much more patience in your 30s, and I feel like I appreciate this so much more.”

Charlotte, according to her mom and dad, was well worth the wait. “Every day I look at her and I am in awe,” said Sarah Michelle. And Sarah Michelle knows the question that she will now be asked. “The minute you have a baby, everyone asks, ‘When are you going to have another one?’ “

John Travolta Finally Admits That Son Had Autism

famphoto

In his first interview since son Jett’s tragic death last January, Scientologist John Travolta says he and his family are relying on almost daily religious counseling sessions to help them cope.

Since Jett, 16, died following a seizure, “We’ve been working very hard every day as a family to heal,” John said during a round-table interview (per USA Today) with the cast of his latest film, Old Dogs (out November 25th), which also stars wife Kelly Preston and daughter, Ella, 9. “We have our own way of doing it, and it has been helping.”

John, 55, said he has been overwhelmed by all the support.

“You need your friends a lot in times like that,” he said.

Kelly, 47, added that the “outpouring of love from, really, worldwide has been extraordinary. It’s been our friends, our family, our church. We partake in spiritual counseling pretty much daily.”

Still, she said, “It’s a tricky thing. Sometimes, something that’s right for the moment is not right the next day. Being with people who are important to you, being with people that you love, I think that’s what has primarily helped us the most. Sometimes, being alone, too.”

Though the family has been in relative seclusion, John said he is speaking out now to draw attention to his daughter’s film debut in Old Dogs.

Said John, “We decided it was OK to come out and promote, to introduce her to the world and to give her a beautiful future in film.”

John and Kelly declined to comment on an extortion case involving a former Bahamian senator and a paramedic who are accused of demanding $25 million from the family with information about Jett’s death.

In his extortion trial testimony, John admitted for the first time that his son Jett had autism. He is believed to have kept his son’s condition a secret because of the way Scientologists view illness.

A mistrial was declared this past October. A retrial has been ordered.

So sad…

diaper

Well, this isn’t something that you hear every day!

Sarah Jessica Parker is totally delighting in motherhood as evidenced by her following admission!

“I love the smell of diapers,” she told the December issue of Elle magazine.

Sarah Jessica has been on double diaper duty after the arrival of her twin daughters Loretta and Tabitha — who were delivered by a surrogate earlier this year — and she doesn’t mind at all.

“I even like when they’re wet and you smell them all warm liked a baked good,” Sarah Jessica, 44, said, adding that she even says she loves “the smell of Balmex,” a diaper rash cream.

Sarah Jessica also revealed that she and husband Matthew Broderick, 47, considered different options when they decided to expand their family, which also included seven-year-old son James Wilkie.

“I knew there would be lots of opinions about, ‘Well, why didn’t you adopt? Why didn’t you do this? Why didn’t you do that?’ and the truth of the matter is, it wasn’t one or the other for us,” she told Elle. “We had explored, and continue to explore all options, and this one just happened first. This isn’t the period at the end of the sentence.”
