Nicole Richie graces the cover of InStyle UK’s October issue. The mother of two-year-old Harlow and almost-one-year-old Sparrow (his birthday is next week), chatted about pregnancy and Harlow’s growing independence about fashion.
She talked about the differences in her two pregnancies:
“Being pregnant with Harlow was easy. I was wearing heels for eight months. I never got sick and I was like, ‘Oh, what are people talking about?’ But with Sparrow, I was so sick. And my feet were swelling. They were polar opposite pregnancies.”
Nicole says that even though it’s a bit time consuming, Harlow likes to pick her own clothes out:
“She picks her own clothes. It’s a 20-minute thing, it begins at 7.30 each morning, but it is what it is and it’s fine.”
Hopefully we’ll get to see the kids sometime in the near future, it’s been a while since they’ve been spotted out and about with mom and dad.
Wendy Williams knows how awkward it can be to have a parent/child discussion about adult things. Williams’ nine-year-old son has a couple of things on his mind – sex and tattoos. Oh boy!
“He’s going into fifth grade, so he asks questions about sex and he asks questions about tattoos,” she said last month.
“He wants to get a mohawk to round out the summer. He doesn’t ask questions about fashion — we don’t really have that yet, because he wears a uniform. But yeah, life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness.”
Orlando Bloom’s pregnant wife Miranda Kerr has shown off her baby bump in a new advertising campaign for her organic skincare range.
The Aussie model announced she was expecting the Pirates of the Caribbean star’s baby last month (Aug10), just weeks after they exchanged vows in a secret ceremony.
The couple has kept a low profile since they confirmed the happy news, but Kerr was thrilled to be snapped with her growing bump in an ad for her Kora skincare line.
In the tranquil video, the Victoria’s Secret beauty is seen wearing a simple vest and leggings whilst relaxing in a variety of yoga positions.
Celine Dion’s publicist has reacted quickly to dismiss French reports suggesting the pregnant singer has suffered a major health setback.
The star, who is expecting twin boys in November (10), was said to have been taken to hospital following pregnancy complications, but Dion’s rep insists the report is “completely fabricated”. The unnamed aide tells People.com,
“She’s never been in the hospital. Her pregnancy continues to be healthy and she feels fantastic.
“(Celine and her husband Rene Angelil) have gotten calls from friends worried that something is wrong. To be so happy and then to get these calls, it’s been upsetting for them when they are in such a good place.”
The website reports Dion has so far gained 33 pounds during her pregnancy, and credits her good health to regular acupuncture treatments and plenty of rest.
Her rep adds,
“As with most women expecting multiples, her doctor wants her to stay off her feet as much as possible as she finishes her pregnancy.”
The singer suffered a miscarriage last year (09) as she attempted to carry her second child to term. Dion and Angelil have a nine-year-old son, called Rene Charles.
Emily Procter, who is six months pregnant with her first child, is having a hard time convincing people that she isn’t having twins.
“The most common question I get is, ‘Are you having twins?’ and when I say no they’re like, ‘Are you sure?’ “
“The other one I get is, ‘Is your due date wrong?’ But no, I still have three months.”
The “CSI: Miami” star and her boyfriend, musician Paul Bryan, already know the baby’s sex and have a name picked out, but are keeping the info private.
She also shared that although she’s having cravings, they are healthy ones!
“No pickles and ice cream,” she said. “Fruit. Lots and lots of fruit. Lemon ice cream, lemonade, lemon anything.”
