Peter Facinelli and wife Jennie Garth disagree every year when it comes to picking the perfect Christmas tree, so the couple have opted to put up two trees!

“My wife wants to do the fake tree because it’s easy but I am so anti fake trees,” Peter told People magazine at the New York premiere of Everybody’s Fine. “In one room we do a nice fake tree, and in the other room I get to have my tree with all the pine needles falling all over the place.”

Peter, 36, said that the reason he loves getting a real tree is because it allows him to spend time with his three daughters with Garth, 37: Luca, 12, Lola, 7, and Fiona, 3.

“What’s fun is that I get to go and pick out the tree with the kids, and then it becomes an experience,” he said. “Sometimes I’ll hide behind the tree. I used to pretend I was the talking tree. The kids loved it. I would be like, ‘Hey, pick me – I am the best Christmas tree!’ “

Even though he picks out the tree, Peter admitted that Christmas would not happen without the help of his wife.

“I have no time to go Christmas shopping this year,” he said. “She called me today and said, ‘So, I got the Christmas shopping done for so and so and so and so.’ I’m like, ‘You’re a godsend.’ “

As for Peter’s perfect present, he says that he is asking Santa for nothing this year. “I’m so blessed I couldn’t possibly imagine asking for anything else.”

North Pole Cupcakes

Ingredients
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup peanut butter chips
CUPCAKES:
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1/3 cup canola oil
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup baking cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Beat the sugar, egg and salt until smooth. Fold in chocolate and peanut butter chips; set aside.

For cupcakes, in a large bowl, beat the sugar, water, oil, vinegarand vanilla until well blended. In a large bowl, combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; gradually beat into sugar mixture and mix well. Fill paper-lined muffin cups half full with batter. Top each with about 2 tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted into cupcake comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks to cool completely. Yield: 1-1/2 dozen.

Note: The filling will partially cover the top of the cupcakes.

Kimora, 34, boasts about her skills in creating a traditional holiday home in New Jersey for her husband, 45, and children Ming Lee, 9, Aoki Lee, 7, and 5-month-old Kenzo.

“I bake. I make a great German chocolate cake. Anyone who knows me will tell you I’m a great baker, the best,” she shared. “When I bake something, I swear to god, it’s gone before it hits the plate.”

Regarding rumors that their marriage last summer in Benin wasn’t strictly legitimate, Kimora said it’s hogwash.

“The girls were there, and we had a wonderful time,” she said. “It was very calm, family-motivated and spiritual.”

Kimora also opened up about her wonderful marriage.

“Djimon and I enjoy discussing anything from politics to wine, and we have enriching, private, happy, balanced lives together,” she shared. “That’s probably the thing that would shock people most: We do things like go to the grocery store and have fun with our kids. We’re a normal family, doing the best we can.”

Sarah Jessica Parker welcomed twins Marion and Tabitha via a surrogate in June, and she opened up in the January issue of Glamour magazine about feeling both blessed and regretful as she tries to juggle her career with raising three kids.

On her expanding family:

“Nothing can really describe what it’s like to have two new little girls. It’s been very different than when James arrived, since our family expanded in an untraditional way. We didn’t plan on having two, but were doubly blessed, and it’s been just wonderful. [Tabitha and Marion] just turned four months old today! One would prefer to be held 24 hours a day, and the other is already suffering from type A issues. It’s been amazing but complicated because of my current work schedule, which I have enormous regrets about.”

On being a working woman with a nanny:

“It is the eternal conflict of every working woman, and I am not complaining, because I’ve done this to myself. And I have a wonderful, wonderful nanny who allows me to be a working person. The great challenge for me is to be all things to all people; I want to be a great mother, and I want to feel good when I’m at work. But it is hard.”

 On how she dresses in the morning:

“Whatever’s practical for being a mother. I walk my son to school, and I don’t want to embarrass him.”

While Katie has been busy in the U.S., bringing daughter Suri to the Dizzy Feet Foundation’s Inaugural Celebration of Dance at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood on Nov. 29, and shooting indie flick The Romantics in Long Island, N.Y., Tom is overseas filming the action-romance Knight & Day with Cameron Diaz.

Although rumors that the couple  — who celebrated their three – year anniversary on November 18th — have been separated because of marital tensions and not just work, OK! magazine is reporting that Tom and Katie have reached a deal on expanding their family: While right now work is her first priority, which Tom doesn’t always agree with, Katie plans to get pregnant sometime in the next year.

“She no longer feels like she’s just Mrs. Cruise. She’s her own person again,” a pal told OK! magazine of the couple’s decision. “She and Tom have their disagreements, but deep down they love each other very much. That’s what is important.”

Katie Holmes doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with dressing her 3-year-old daughter Suri in high heels.

“Like every little girl, she loves my high heels,” she told Access Hollywood.

After Suri was spotted wearing high heels on multiple occasions, critics complained that the footwear could be detrimental to her physical development. “A common side effect of adults wearing heels too often is the tightening or shortening of the Achilles tendon,” New York podiatrist Dr. Oliver Zong told Fox News.

Katie, 30, insists that Suri’s heels are supportive.

“They are actually ballroom dancing shoes for kids,” she told Access. “I found them for her and she loves them.”

Suri also “loves dancing and singing and she’s just a joy,” Katie told Extra. “She loves it all.”

Katie said they are all gearing up for a “big family Christmas” in Los Angeles this year. “I love Christmas,” Katie said. “It’s my favorite.”

Nearly a month and a half after her October 9th birth date Heidi, 36, and Seal, 46, have introduced their baby daughter, Lou, to the world on Seal’s website.

Lou joins big brothers Henry, 4, and Johan, 2, and big sister Leni, 5.

Lou is the third child for Heidi and Seal. Leni’s father is Heidi’s ex-boyfriend Flavio Briatore. (Heidi recently took “Samuel” as her new legal surname; no word yet if she’ll change her professional surname as well.)

Heidi showed off her amazing post-baby body at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on November 19th.

At the show, Heidi shared that Lou was doing “great…I pre-pumped a lot of milk, left it in the freezer.”

Robin Thicke and wife, Paula Patton, have already chosen baby names! 

“We like Julian if it’s a boy and Isabella if it’s a girl,” he told People magazine Saturday while hosting at The Bank nightclub in Las Vegas.

Robin and Paula are expecting their first child in May.

“My wife is good,” he said, “I’m just trying to make her as comfortable as possible and hopefully nature will take care of the rest and give us a healthy baby.”

Though this is his first, he’s gotten plenty of advice. “The best advice I’ve got was I’ve been told just to enjoy this moment and it’s the most special time in your life. It can seem stressful and worrisome, but it’s the best time and we’re excited.”
