Miranda Kerr & Orlando Bloom Expecting Their First Child!

Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr, 27, and husband Orlando Bloom, 33, are expecting their first child together, according to a source. And according to the source, Miranda is thrilled about the baby news! The couple just recently were married in a secret wedding ceremony.

Though it is being reported that Miranda and Orlando are expecting, Miranda’s grandmother says she hasn’t “got a clue” if Miranda is pregnant.

When asked about the reports, Ann Kerr claimed she isn’t aware of the news.

“All those things will come out in time but I don’t know anything,” she said. “I haven’t got a clue. Maybe they will wait a bit longer yet.”

Ann did praise Orlando for whisking her granddaughter away for a secret wedding.

“It was just the two of them,” she said. “They knew if they had invited one they would have had to invite them all and they didn’t want a big wedding because they’re not the flashy kind. They are very quiet.”

Miranda, who is believed to be three months pregnant, has previously been very open about her desire to start a family with Orlando, whom she has been in a relationship with for three years.

“I have always been very open about wanting to be a mother one day,” she said. “And I’ve always thought Orlando would be a great dad!”

Best Wishes!

Melissa Rycroft’s Baby Joy: “It’s Such A Blessing”

Melissa Rycroft is pregnant, the new issue of Us Weekly reports.

“It was a shock. We weren’t even trying,” said Melissa. Melissa was publicly dumped on The Bachelor before rebounding with a triumphant turn on Dancing With the Stars. She married insurance agent Tye Strickland in December.

“It’s the most wonderful surprise in the world,” added Melissa, who is due in February. “It’s such a blessing.”

Melissa, 27, shared with Us Weekly that starting a family was the last thing on her mind: “He wanted the kids right away, and I was laughing at him going, ‘No, not ready!’”

Though the news was a surprise, Melissa said that her relationship with Tye, 29, has helped her stay calm — and she can’t imagine having a child with anyone else.

“He’s actually cried more than I have,” she shared. “Tye is caring, he’s funny. He’s going to be a great dad.”

Melissa just bought a new home near Dallas with her husband. She divulged that she’s hoping for a boy, and he wants a girl. “We’re going to find out as soon as we can,” she said.

Melissa joked that she’s “eating everything in sight” and craving no-nos like sushi and sub sandwiches.

“Knowing me, I’m going to swell and gain 90 pounds,” she said. “But it’s not about me anymore!”

As for pregnancy cravings, she said that besides avocados, she likes “weird things at weird hours.”

Her trick to dressing while pregnant? Wearing high heels!

She joked, “It offsets the impending growth of width.”

(couldn’t help but giggle…The Revenge Of Kitty Galore!!!???)

Gwyneth Paltrow & Bryce Dallas Howard Open Up About Their Experiences With Postpartum Depression

Gwyneth Paltrow’s latest edition of GOOP discusses postpartum depression, which Gwyneth suffered after the birth of her second child. The newsletter also includes Bryce Dallas Howard’s detailed and harrowing account of her experience with postpartum depression.

Gwyneth shares:

When my son, Moses, came into the world in 2006, I expected to have another period of euphoria following his birth, much the way I had when my daughter was born two years earlier. Instead I was confronted with one of the darkest and most painfully debilitating chapters of my life. For about five months I had, what I can see in hindsight as postnatal depression, and since that time, I have wanted to know more about it.
Bryce Dallas Howard found at she was pregnant just five days after her wedding in 2006, when she was only 25, and gained more than 80 pounds during her pregnancy. After giving birth she called her son “it” even though he was named Theo, convinced herself she was a terrible actress and mother and struggled to breast-feed:

For me, breast-feeding was even more painful than giving birth. And despite a lactation consultant offering help, I felt incompetent. I refused to give up, forcing myself to do everything possible so that my son would consume only my breast milk with no supplementation. I forged on, barely sleeping, always either breast feeding or pumping and never getting the hang of it. Occasionally I drifted off for a few minutes, but that decision to “feed at all costs” left me no room for recovery, no space to explore my feelings, no time to rest.
Bryce opened up about her secret daily crying jags, her inability to get downstairs to eat and lashing out at her loved ones:

My husband began shooting a television series, and late evenings when he returned home, I would meet him at the door, shaking with fury, “I’ve hit the wall and gone through it, and I feel I am expected to go further.” He would ask what he could do to help, but knowing there was nothing he could do, I screamed expletives at him, behavior he had never experienced in the seven years we had been together.
With the help of her husband, family and friends, Bryce started seeing a therapist and finally experienced a “critical shift” when shooting a movie in which she played a woman with insane delusions.

Gwyneth told Vogue in 2008 that she was never diagnosed with postpartum depression while she was suffering, and she attributed her depression in part to cutting out her usual treatments such as acupuncture.

“I didn’t know I had it until after it was over,” she said. “I just didn’t know what was wrong with me…I felt really out of my body. I felt really disconnected. I felt really down; I felt pessimistic.”

Gwyneth also shared that losing the baby weight she gained while pregnant with Moses was “by far the hardest thing I have ever done.”

It’s awesome that they have both been so honest and open about their struggles with postpartum depression.

Bridget Moynahan Finally Speaks Out! She Calls Gisele Bundchen Irresponsible To Present Motherhood As Easy And Painless

Bridget Moynahan, 39, has been laying low…undoubtedly because she is constantly asked about her 3-year-old son, John, with former boyfriend Tom Brady and his marriage to Gisele Bundchen. However, since she is now promoting the movie “Ramona and Beezus,” due out July 23rd, and next fall’s TV show “Blue Bloods” she’s opening up a little more. In the new issue of SELF magazine, she talks about life after Tom and how she is managing as a single mom.
“Being a mom, whether single or not, is not easy! Certain individuals and the press present motherhood as if it’s easy or painless, and that’s irresponsible,” Bridget says, perhaps referring to Gisele’s drug-free water birth. “Girls see pictures in magazines of mothers with fancy baby bags and think it looks glamorous, and that’s not necessarily the case. I’m not complaining about anything in my life – it’s fantastic. My son is so well adjusted. He has two parents who live in different homes, and that’s what he knows. Having a child didn’t hold me back from a career or a love life or traveling; it has enhanced my life.”
She also makes clear that she would prefer not to be the subject of so much tabloid attention. She goes further to imply that perhaps Tom and Gisele do not mind the attention of the paparazzi.
“The paparazzi are intrusive, offensive and aggressive. It’s not something that I respect or, quite frankly, deserve,” she says. “I don’t search it out. I lead a quiet life. I don’t go out as much as I’d like because I don’t want my son to be involved in that. We do things privately, like reading Dr. Seuss, playing games and listening to music. That’s why you haven’t seen many photos of us. I don’t need to parade him around. I want to raise him with a strong sense of self and integrity. He’ll learn from his mistakes. I’m not a believer in encouraging bad behavior or sweeping it under the rug. It better be out on the table.”
She also opens up about how she copes with how Tom left her for Gisele when she was pregnant his son.
“No matter what’s been thrown at me in the past couple of years, I try to find the positive. There are a thousand magazines that like the negative. It’s easy to bitch and to listen to your people bitch, so if someone going through a divorce asks me for advice, I say, ‘All the he said/she said stuff doesn’t matter. And your kid will pick up on that energy. Keep your kids the focus,’” she says. “When [my life] was in the news or when challenging things arose while trying to work things out with another person, my attitude was to take the high road. My drama isn’t different from anybody else’s, except people get to see it.”
Though Bridget says that a career and motherhood have not diminished her desire for a satisfying romantic life, her priorities have changed.
“I do look at men differently now,” she says. “There’s a whole category that isn’t in the running: somebody who doesn’t want a family. And, while I’d love to have more children, I’m not sure I want another on my own. One is portable; two are not. Anyone I date is going to have an open heart.”
Bridget also shares that things are looking up.
“I’m in the same shape now I was prior to having a baby. I mean, there are little scars, battle wounds from giving birth, for sure, but I’m back to my fighting weight,” she says. “It was a combination of wanting to be strong, fit and healthy and enjoying the stress release. If you are physically well, it feeds your mental and emotional state, and your child senses it. My son eats whatever I’m eating, so it’s a sit-down dinner with protein and vegetables. I don’t want him to snack between meals, so I don’t. I do indulge sometimes. I’m a salty girl – potato chips or truffle fries and a martini. But for the most part, I live a very healthy life. I’m not going to sit and eat fried Twinkies!”

Angelina Opens Up About Parenthood In New Interviews

In a new interview to promote her movie, Salt, Angelina Jolie defends her daughter Shiloh’s masculine clothing choices and quirky personality.

“I think she [Shiloh] is fascinating, the choices she is making. And I would never be the kind of parent to force somebody to be something they are not. I think that is just bad parenting,” she told Reuters.

Earlier, Angelina coined the term “Montenegro style” to describe Shiloh’s unique look. Several well-known stylists have explained that it is a term she made up. Angelina has also said that she “wants to be a boy.”

Continued Angelina, who is also raising Maddox, 8, Pax, 6, Zahara, 5, and twins Knox and Viv, 2, with partner Brad Pitt, “Children should be allowed to express themselves in whatever way they wish without anybody judging them because it is an important part of their growth.”

“Society always has something to learn when it comes to the way we judge each other, label each other. We have far to go,” added Angelina, who has often made her own actions into social statements, including declaring that she would never wed Brad until it was legal for everyone to do so.

Their very political stance on marriage does seem to be changing though.
“I think it’d be hard to say no to the kids,” Angelina, 35, explained to Nightline in another interview to promote Salt.
The kids, “are not asking,” admitted Angelina. “They’re very aware that nothing’s missing.”
Angelina called Brad, her partner of five years, “of course the love of my life.” She says they’ll grow old together.
“We wouldn’t have had six kids if we weren’t absolutely sure of that,” she asserted.
As for expanding their family further, “There’s no plans at the moment for more,” said Angelina. “But always talk about it. We’re always open. We kind of joke about it, ’cause in the morning we’re so tired. ‘Cause there — nobody spends the night. We wake up and we have breakfast…. And so, we always have this thing kind of first thing in the morning where we’re really, really tired. And we always look at each other and wonder like, Are we ever gonna get sleep?’ And then we joke about sleep…. But yet, we still love the idea of having more children.”
Angelina shared that her and Brad “take turns” making breakfast.
“I think everybody prefers Dad’s eggs and bacon. They always want pancakes. Knox is very into pancakes right now. And gets really upset if he can’t have pancakes. You know, we just try to– we try to corral them,” she admitted.
“We’ve had to put new gates up, because the twins are kind of going everywhere, while we were trying to make breakfast and get the other others out the door for camp. So, we’ve had to put like extra gates on the kitchen. And– we have drawers in the kitchen full of toys,” she added. “And we’ve got… stations kind of for somebody= getting ready. So, the twins have their own little section…. We pride ourselves on the fact that we got it. We got this… We got it. You get the juice, you get the thing. We’re like bartenders. We’re like… waiters.”
Angelina said that she’s “better at disciplining the girls. And he’s better at disciplining the boys… We made a plan early on that we believe that you can’t be good cop / bad cop. That you have to back each other no matter what!’”
Angelina also shared that her kids made her fearless while shooting the movie’s stunts.
“In some way, I suppose, or I wouldn’t be able to do the film,” she said. “I’m fine to get dirty and tough with the best of ‘em, you know? Because I would believe in what I’m fighting for. And I’m not afraid. But I’m also just Mommy, and goofy Mommy.”
But because of her children, “I would never do something that could kill me,” she said. “But there were things that were — I could have broken my arm or broken my leg, or that kind of thing.”
Angelina said that she has some experience fighting as a kid. “I did punch,” she admitted. “I think because I was so — it was my first fight, you know? And you don’t know what else to do. You figure you better do it right the first time or they’re gonna come back at you!”
But she added, “real fighting is so awkward and not cool at all.”
