On his official website, Matthew McConaughey, 40, and girlfriend Camila Alves have released the first photo of their baby girl, Vida, who was born on January 3rd in Los Angeles (she weighed in at 7 lbs., 7 oz.).

“Our latest family member, Vida Alves McConaughey,” Matthew wrote under the baby’s photo.

Camila told Us Weekly that the baby “is doing great.”

“It’s easier with the second child, because, you know what she’ll be like,” said Camila, 27, who welcomed their first child, son Levi, in 2008.

She said their 19-month-old son is “at the fun stage where he’s talking. He loves saying Vida’s name!”

Matthew couldn’t be a more doting dad, she added.

Said Camila, “To see a father with his child is beautiful.”

In an interview with a popular Brazilian TV show, Gisele Bundchen revealed that the couple’s baby boy, Benjamin, was born (on December 8th) in a bathtub at their Beacon Street townhouse. Gisele, 29, talked to a correspondent from the show “Fantastico” during a fashion shoot this week in Boston. (She did a spot for Colcci’s new campaign.) “Gisele gives off simplicity, spirituality, shows that she has concern with living well, being happy and, now, with being an excellent mom,” the reporter said in a preview of the interview, which airs this weekend. “From what I saw in the interview, I’d say she’s right on track.”

Supermodel Claudia Schiffer is expecting her third child.

Claudia, 39, and her husband, director Matthew Vaughn, confirmed the news.

“We are delighted with the news and can’t wait to add to our family,” Claudia said in a statement, according to Us Weekly.

Claudia is due in May.

The new assition will join big brother, Caspar, 6, and big sister, Clementine, 5.

And Claudia was all smiles as she stepped out in a wet and rainy London on Monday, disguising her baby bump under a knee length maroon cardigan.

Despite a new gig with Lancome, the mother-of-three, 42, admitted that there are areas of her beauty routine that could use some improvement, “I think I have to stand up straighter and wash my face more,” she said.

Meanwhile, fresh from her Eat, Pray, Love shoot in which she plays writer Elizabeth Gilbert on her soul-searching trip through Italy, India and Indonesia Julia admitted, “It was quite a huge undertaking.

“It was a little bit daunting, dragging three little kids around the world, but well worth it,” she said, referring to her three children, the oldest of whom are five-year-old twins.

“It was really like the acting Olympics,” continued Julia. “It’s been a long time since I’ve had a full-time acting job. I am really glad that I made the decision to go off and do that movie. I hope that Liz [Gilbert] really likes it more than anything,” said Julia.

“She’s a really interesting woman. I’m pretty fascinated by her, and I think a lot of people relate to her. So that’s the greatest challenge [with] a book that’s so well-known: You want people to see the movie and have that same sense of interest and comfort that they got from reading the book.”

Julia is excited about taking a hands-on approach to her role with Lancôme, “I get all these things to play with and test and give my opinion about,” she said.

“And it’s quite exciting without having to invest all of myself in how I look because they did come to me as me, which is a pretty casual mom. But you know, it’s nice to up your game a little bit.”

Have children changed her beauty regimen? “It kind of comes to a screeching halt,” she admitted. “At a certain point in the future, I’ll pick it back up again.

“I think the nice thing about getting older is it forces you in a way to take a greater interest in your [beauty] regime. And so it’s a good moment for me to join forces with people who can help me,” she said, laughing.

Alla Kournikova, mother of tennis star Anna Kournikova, was arrested and put in jail Tuesday on charges of child neglect after leaving her 5-year-old son, Allen, home alone in her $2 million Palm Beach home for more than 50 minutes while she went to the bank and post office.

A neighbor called authorities to report that a little boy named Allen, a half-brother of Anna, was “soaking wet and walking in front of his house, acting very upset.” The caller told police that the child said he “had jumped out of a window.”

When police officers arrived at the Kournikova home, Allen told them that after he “jumped out of the second story window” he entered the family swimming pool because his “feet hurt.”

Police did a study of the home, located in the center of Palm Beach, and learned that the second-story roof was about 15 feet high. Allen landed in a white stone side yard, police said, between a pair of air conditioning units.

“I hung by my hands before letting go,” Allen told the police. He then walked through a black fence and entered the pool. His feet hurt because he was barefoot when falling onto the stones.

Palm Beach Fire Rescue came and examined Allen, who had bruising on his feet and lower back. He was admitted to a local hospital while police attempted to reach Alla Kournikova, 46, through a cell-phone number obtained in a search.

When Alla Kournikova returned to her house she was asked to go to the police station where she told the officers that her son was “awake and sitting on the couch watching television at the time she left her home.”

Alla, who is raising the boy alone, said she dead-bolted the house and gave Allen a cell phone to use while she was gone. He didn’t accompany her on her errands because he said he “did not want to go.”

Alla, an aspiring Palm Beach socialite, was eventually released from jail on $3,000 bond for the third-degree felony.

In the pic, the baby boy – who weighed in at 9 lbs., 5 oz. when he was born on December 11th – is wearing an Air Jordan hat and Nike basketball T-shirt while he dozes off and sucks on a pacifier.

And Kendra, 24, posted on her Twitter last week, “So I learned who lil Hanks crushes are..they are Taylor Swift and @OfficialAudrina lol.”

Katie Holmes couldn’t stop gushing about her 3-year-old daughter while enjoying a night out with husband, Tom.

“She’s doing really well,” Katie told People magazine at The NY Times Style Magazine’s Golden Globes cocktail party Friday night at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood. “She’s growing up really, really fast.”

Katie said her high-heel-wearing little girl talks a blue streak and is “spectacular.”

“She is magical,” Katie said.

Katie said that she and Tom have been traveling a lot lately, so it was “great to be out.”

Sarah Palin and her daughter Bristol opened up to In Touch Weekly about the drama that has plagued the Palin family over the last year, Bristol’s split from Levi Johnston and how she and Grandma Sarah have dealt with raising Bristol’s son Tripp.

In the interview Bristol explains one of her lowest moments, following her split from Levi Johnston.

“I was just rocking Tripp to sleep because he had been screaming for so long. I was just like, ‘What am I going to do? This is as bad as it gets,” she told In Touch.

Through it all, Bristol has relied on her family, namely her mom Sarah. Sarah has helped and comforted Bristol.

After all, no one can better understand the complicated decision to have a baby under difficult circumstances. Just a year earlier, at the age of 44, Sarah carried her son Trig to term, even though she was told during a sonogram that he would be born with Down syndrome. Now, the mother and daughter are sharing a unique experience— raising baby boys together under the same roof.

“The last few years have been unreal and surreal,” Sarah said to In Touch.
